We have an immediate need for an experienced, upbeat sales associate to help grow our customer base. You will be directly responsible for the early stages of the client experience. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter to contribute to the growth of a brand and build impactful relationships with architects and designers. Our company offers a unique product and has a young, design-savvy customer base across retail, consumer and design channels. We're looking for someone who has a natural way with people and enjoys being invested in their work.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
-Represent the Luxholdups brand by creating a welcoming environment for all customers and providing customers with knowledge of the brand
-Field all incoming inquiries and requests for quotes
-Provide excellent service support over phone, email and website message.
-Ensure timely follow up regarding specific inquiries and issues.
-Develop and provide in-depth knowledge of Luxholdups products to inform our clients about customization options and technical specifications.
-Ability to identify a customer’s needs and problem solve, to understand and explain product features and benefits.
-Perform basic office management as needed
-Manage current sales cycle from start to finish: generate quotes, respond to inquiries, evaluate lead time, manage invoices and communicate order needs with production team.
-Responsible for following up with clients on projects and obtaining imagery
-Design consultation with clients
-Assist with sales materials and product information
-Process returns and exchanges
-Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves & take on any task to keep our wheels moving—that’s what we all do and what makes startups amazing
-Exceed customer expectations with a stellar customer service experience.
-Extremely resourceful and has an innate ability to find information when needed.
-Has genuine passion for the design industry and past exposure working with or for designers, architects, or custom manufactures.
-Detail-oriented; ability to multi-task & meet shifting deadlines
-Takes initiative and is self-motivated.
-Maintains an upbeat and energetic interaction style.
-Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service
-Communicates effectively and is receptive and responsive to feedback
-Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Quickbooks. Familiarity with InDesign, Photoshop and AutoCAD, pinterest and Instagram a plus.
Luxholdups is New York City-based design and fabrication studio. We work with high quality, solid materials to make beautiful items for everyday use, and have a great time doing it!
