Job Description

DEDON a world-class manufacturer and exporter of inspirational furniture for exteriors with offices all over the world is seeking a Sales Associate for our Chicago location!

DEDON is a growing luxury brand and qualified applicants can carve out a place for themselves in a rapidly expanding company. Successful candidates will have shown initiative and personal drive in a previous role. A large degree of flexibility and high earning potential make this a great position for someone looking to expand their influence in the furnishings industry. This position is available immediately and offers full benefits, a competitive base salary, commission, and bonus opportunities.

Summary:

The candidate will be working from our Chicago showroom and will also need a driver's license to cover local and long distance territories. This role will be reporting to the DEDON Midwestern Regional Manager. The candidate will visit client offices throughout the Midwest and possibly Canada and will require overnight travel. To excel in this role, the candidate will need to be a motivated, self-starter with a hunter mentality, while maintaining a professional demeanor that is in line with the company's mission and values. Respected relationships within the industry are valuable to our consideration.

Job Description/Specifics:


•Developing and delivering presentations to architects, designers, and end users in the Trade/Residential sector;
•Servicing dealer accounts in the territory;
•Generating solutions and quotes for clients;
•Creating and closing sales;
•Prospecting new accounts;
•Managing current accounts to ensure company and client satisfaction;
•Handling day-to-day customer interaction together with internal partners.

Job Requirements

•3 to 5 years of sales experience;
•At least 2 years of outside sales experience;
•Established industry network/contacts preferred;
•BA degree or beyond is a plus;
•Passport or be able to qualify for a US passport;
•Experience in luxury trade sales is desired and home furnishings preferred.
