Veranda Magazine is marking a big milestone this year - its 25th anniversary! To celebrate, Editor-in-Chief Dara Caponigro is hosting special events in five cities, including Chicago, to host what promises to be an insightful panel discussion entitled, "What Modern Means Today," with designers David Kleinberg and Bobby McAlpine. 

The panel discussion kicks off a day of great design events with Veranda at Merchandise Mart. There will be "Veranda at 25" receptions at Donghia, Inc. from 12:15 to 1 p.m. and from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Edward Ferrell + Lewis Mittman Showroom. At 2:30 p.m. at the Cowtan & Tout Showroom, Caponigro will introduce Veranda's "Archive Project" and discuss the magazine's collaboration with Cowtan & Tout to reissue an archival print, Longbourn, which is a commemorative design celebrating Veranda's 25th Anniversary.
