Designing for children is not the same as designing for adults. NYSID hosts a panel of experts who will discuss the differences and will show examples of rooms and furnishings that make both youngsters and parents happy. Panelists include Aidan O’Connor, co-curator of “Century of the Child: Growing By Design, 1900-2000,” on view at MoMA through November 5, Wendy Goodman, design editor at New York magazine, Penni Morgenstein, Psy.D, licensed psychologist, and Nancy Frank Breslin, cohabiTOT interior designer specializing in children’s rooms. Moderated by Judith Gura, author and faculty member at NYSID.
Tickets are $12 general admission, $10 for seniors and non-NYSID students, NYSID students are free. Click here to purchase tickets in advance.
