Posted on Friday, March 12, 2010.

Architectural Record, published by McGraw-Hill Construction, yesterday received seven Jesse H. Neal Business Journalism Awards from American Business Media at its annual awards luncheon in New York City. Known as "the Pulitzer Prize of business journalism," the Jesse H. Neal Awards recognize editorial excellence in business-to-business publications. McGraw-Hill was a finalist in the most categories this year, and received eight of the possible 13 awards for which it was nominated. Architectural Record received three Neal Awards for "Best Integrated Package" for "The Recession Report" coverage, "Best Use of Video" for "Record TV," and "Best Use of Social Media" for its "Photo Showcases & Reader Feedback." GreenSource received a Neal Award for "Best Single Issue" for its March/April 2009 issue. Architectural Record was also a Neal Award finalist for "Best Subject-Related Series of Articles" for it's "Record Reveals: San Francisco" series; and "Best Integrated Package" for GreenSource's "GreenBuild Phoenix" coverage. Architectural Record and ArchitecturalRecord.com connect architects and design professionals to projects, products and people with complete coverage of great architecture around the globe. It has won more than 20 awards in the past five years, including three 2009 Neal Awards for "Best Single Issue," "Best Website," and "Best Online Series." GreenSource magazine and GreenSourceMag.com are produced by editors from Architectural Record/McGraw-Hill Construction with editorial support from BuildingGreen, Inc. GreenSource covers noteworthy trends and best practices in sustainable design.
