New York Times cancels Home & Garden section

Executive editor Dean Baquet announced the end of the New York Times Home & Garden section in a company-wide email Friday, Feb. 27. The rumored but not-wholly-expected move will mean that the section will fold into other shelter-focused parts of the paper. The last edition of Home will run next Thursday, March 5.
